Judaism is a way of life, a living faith. It was the Jews who brought to the world that there is only One God and that He is both just and fair. They were appointed or “chosen” by God to set an example of holiness and to be a “light” unto the nations.
Jews believe that the Torah they possess contains the same wording as given by God to Moses together with an Oral Law. Jewish life often requires communal activities, even that much of the faith is centred around the home.
