As you will see from the enclosed Plea For Peace Blackburn with Darwen Interfaith Forum, Churches Together in Lancashire, Lancashire Forum of Faiths and Lancashire Council of Mosques are making a Pledge For Peace which we want you to take resolute action to bring about. We are aware that efforts are being made but want to make sure that you know that we all feel very strongly that the Fighting must stop immediately and that Talking between those involve must begin to find a solution. Every effort must be made to ensure that this happens despite setbacks and broken promises where ever they come from. We firmly believe there is no other way to bring about a resolution to the problems that afflict the Middle East, particularly Israel/Palestine and other areas of conflict in the world.
