In the light of recent disturbances in Leicester, reportedly involving Hindus and Muslims, the BwD Interfaith Forum condemns all such actions and calls for every effort to be made to maintain good relationships that are the norm between people of different faiths in our community. We therefore call on all people of Faith to continue to work cooperatively to ensure this and are clear that living in harmony with each other, in good relationships, is what each of the world’s different religions teaches.  We as BwD Interfaith Forum, working with members of the world’s major faiths, therefore strongly state that people of Faith are called to work in peace and harmony together and we must do all we can to achieve and maintain this in all we do.’
